The Research & Development Center (RDC) of the RCC held its annual professional development of both teaching and non-teaching personnel to enhance their research capability and productivity on April 18, 20, 25, & 27, 2017. The four sessions highlighted the various aspects of research, from the rudiments and processes of conducting researches. The main discussants were Dr. Gloria B. Abrazado, VPAA, Dr. Jaime R. Dizon, RDC Director, Dr. Jumar G. Basco, OSA & CESO Director, Mr. Jed V. Madlambayan, Head Guidance & Counseling Office, and Mr. Rizalde M. Capio, Principal, Grade School. On the first day Dr. Dizon, took the initial step in the seminar-workshop by elucidating on the conceptualization of research problems and topics. Dr. Abrazado, expounded on writing the introduction and doing literature search. In the afternoon of the same day, the participants presented their outputs. Mr. Madlambayan continued the session with his research design and instrumentation. On the third session, Dr. Basco gave the participants a taste of data analysis and presentation of tables through actual computer operation and taught some descriptive and inferential stats using trial version of SPSS. Mr. Capio discussed the process of writing the parts of the research paper on the fourth session The seminar-workshop ended with a recap of the participants achievements by presenting their outputs of sessions 2 and 3.
