BA Department Spearheads Webinar

     The Business Administration (BA) Department of the College of Business and Accountancy (CBA) spearheaded a 2-hour webinar on May 13, 2022, via Google Meet. This was made possible with the initiative of the BA Student Council led by their President, Jan Raphael Bungay. The webinar was dubbed “Manager’s Diary: A Journey Toward Success” which aimed to have a virtual kwentuhan with the industry managers regarding their life-changing journey from being regular employees to competent managers. The invited resource speakers are proud products of the institution, the Republic Central Colleges (RCC).        

 

    

 One of the resource speakers was Ms. Stephanie Ann Sangalang who is currently the Marketing Head of Eco Protect Management Corp. & Green Eco Xpress Inc. Ms. Sangalang is also the owner of Seabull Restaurant and a co-owner of Milktealicious and Defy Customs in Pampanga. In 2012, she attained her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration majoring in Marketing Management. With pride and dignity, she also serves as RCC’s college professor handling marketing and business management subjects.

     Mr. Martyn Jerico Tan, also a resource speaker, is a National Marketing Manager and a concurrent Regional Sales Manager in the Visayas and Mindanao at Cargill Philippines, Inc. Mr. Tan is also a proud product of RCC and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Marketing Management in 2015.

    With enthusiasm and conviction, the speakers shared their knowledge, experiences, challenges, and success stories in the field of marketing in particular and management in general. Their diaries in their chosen have been kept secret but disclosed in this 

 

           

webinar to serve as a guide for the students in the achievement of their goals as future managers and professionals.

 

 

 Truly, the webinar provided insights and enlightenment which served as an eye-opener to the student-participants from the BSBA, BSA, BSMA, BSHM, and BSTM likewise to other attendees including the CBA faculty members led by Dean Airwin Ditianquin.
